Skylark Studio jewelry is designed and created by Karen Stanford whose formal background is in art education and library science.

The many years Karen spent working in museums and libraries has proven rich in inspiration and has greatly influenced the designs of Skylark Studio jewelry. References to antique metalwork and historic woodblock prints combine with woodland themes of birds, antlers and blossoms in Karen’s designs. Each of her pieces is hand cut from sterling silver. With her use of simple silhouettes and utmost attention to craftsmanship, Karen aims to create timeless classics that will be worn and cherished for years.

Karen now lives in Virginville, Pennsylvania. When not making silver dust in her studio, you can find Karen happily riding her bike along the beautiful country paths of Berks County.
