Spread the Love is the name under which Melanie Linder creates and markets her drawings. The intention of Spread the Love, says Melanie, is to do exactly that – spread the love -- one little doodle at a time. Melanie works in a quiet, humorous sort of way that keeps her incredibly happy and humble. She begins by creating doodles with her trusty Sharpie or Staedtler ink-pen and then uses digital processes to apply color and finish the illustrations.

As a graduate of Kutztown University Melanie majored in Communication Design with a concentration in Illustration. After graduating she was lucky to work for - and be inspired by - several successful artists in the area who started businesses with their art. Just a few years later, Melanie is running two successful businesses of her own. In addition to drawing for Spread the Love, Melanie also designs custom invitations for her small business, Love Your Invite. She recently began freelancing textile designs, too - for Juna Studios in NYC.

Melanie now lives with her wonderful husband and sweet little dog in a beautiful old farmhouse in the Fleetwood area. When she isn’t working on one of her creative projects, Melanie loves bowling, bird watching, badminton, and bonfires.
